Requests for Expressions of Interest
Overview
Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) is pleased to present this Request for Expressions of Interest (REI) for 9 sites, totaling six acres, along Taylor Avenue. Taylor Avenue is a prominent corridor in the PACT Geography, and is often described as a gateway to Columbus’ Near East Side. The boundaries of the PACT Geography are Woodland Ave to the east; Broad Street to the south; I-71 to the west; and I-670 to the north. PACT’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in this community with a particular emphasis on improving the health and wellness of all residents.
With this REI, PACT is specifically seeking proposals that promote the following community priorities:
• quality, sustainable housing affordable to a range of income levels;
• vibrant and safe neighborhoods;
• the creation of economic opportunity for minority and women-owned businesses as well as workforce development and job opportunities for local residents; and
• contextual yet creative architectural design.
PACT is excited to continue the fulfillment of its mission by partnering with developers to translate plans into tangible realities. Responses are due electronically by 5 p.m. on the revised date of October 18, 2024. Late responses will not be accepted. Click here to access the REI.
